Ok, for those of you who have read my last couple posts, you know that I;ve started wetting easier in the day and now I’ve even started going in my sleep at times. I’m sure as I go through these last 1.5 months, it will get worse.
Since I’m getting so close to the end of this little dare/challenge thingy, I’m starting to wonder about going back to panties. I haven’t found much on repottytraining, and I’m sure I’ll need it. Has anyone ever lost control and then regained it or know of anyone who has? I just worry if/how hard this is going to be to regain full control. If any of you know of any information or could point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. Don’t worry though, I am sticking this out and using my diapers till the end, lol.
If any of you even have any insight on repottytraining such as how hard it is, I’d love to hear from all of you. <3
I have no experience in re-potty training, but I would think the best way to approach it would be the same way you change any habit: catch what you can and then when you start gaining more control capitalize on any opportunities to gain more control.
In other words, whenever you catch yourself wetting your diaper, try to hold it. You won’t be very successful at first, but soon you should be able to stop it. Then go to the bathroom like normal (or rather, what normal was before May of last year
). Keep this up, focusing on successes, and try to get as much control as you can. The more you try, the easier it will become.
Remember, little kids can do this, and they’re not functioning adults with a full suite of mental faculties to deal with.
I suppose that makes sense. So I should be fine after the 9 months or longer and still be able to go back to panties eventually. That’s good.
Though not so sure about going in my sleep…
